Our bar is a warm and inviting conversion of the Newbold's original stables. With an open real log fire, exposed beams and historical information from the town, we welcome families, friends and dogs to our pub.
Originally, the building was the estate's horse stables, housing up to 18 of the Willes family horses and stabling horses from famous visitors such as the Marquis of Waterford. During the late 1970s the stables were converted into a riding school. Soon after, the main farm house was converted into The House and Orangery and the stables were converted into our multi-award-winning pub.
