About us

Welcome to Our Award-Winning Pub in Newbold

Our pub is a warm and inviting conversion of Newbold’s original 18th-century stables. With a cosy open log fire, rustic exposed beams, and fascinating local history, it’s the perfect place to relax with family, friends, and even your four-legged companions. We are proud to be a truly dog-friendly pub in Newbold, welcoming clean, well-behaved dogs all year round.

Historic Stables Turned Destination Pub - Originally, the building served as the estate’s horse stables, housing up to 18 of the Willes family’s horses. Famous visitors such as the Marquis of Waterford also stabled their horses here. In the late 1970s, the stables were transformed into a riding school. Shortly after, the main farmhouse became The House and Orangery, and the stables were lovingly restored into what is now our multi-award-winning pub.

Whether you’re looking for a cosy pub with a fireplace, a family-friendly spot for a meal, or a dog-friendly pub in Newbold, we look forward to welcoming you.
